I chose
Kathryn as my handler because
she was recommended to me as
someone who was really good with
dogs, kind, gentle, loving and
firm. She has even taken a dog
that hates crates and kept her
in the her house. She is good
with clients, never being short
with them and always helpful. My
dogs love her and so do I.

- Kathy came into my life when
she was one of the few people
sitting ringside watching me
show my old BIS Veteran Bitch.
Kathy cheered and told me Dory
looked beautiful. It was
that moment I knew that if I
ever had to send one of my dogs
on the road, it would be with
Kathy. Always a lady,
always professional, and always
kind towards animals and people,
Kathy is my first and only
choice as my dog's 'mother' away
from home. Since my
decision, Kathy has finished
three of my girls and a fourth
is well on the way to a

It is with great pleasure and
pride that I would like to
present my new Champion Master
Hunter - CH Seawind's
Fergmar Edubard MH. Bear was
bred by Pamela Ireland and
is loved and trained by Johanne
Ferguson. Handled by Kathy
Mines, Bear finished his
Championship in September and
was the only CH/MH Labrador
running in this years Master
National. Watch for him in the
obedience ring and running
Qualifying in 2012. Many thanks
to my husband John, Pam, Kathy
Mines, Buck Shope, Bill and Anna
Clark and all the people along
the way that made this once in a
life time achievement possible.
